It’s been more than twenty years since I left Sardinia, for study and work purposes. I live now in the south of France, and at least once a year I take the ferry from Toulon to go to visit my family,
often for Christmas.
Trips can be very long, so I have all the time to observe the other passengers and to try to imagine what they are feeling during these endless hours, travelling to reach or to leave their native place.
This project aims to collect the photos I took and those I will take during these long trips,
on the ferry, from the ferry, or waiting for it.
